We all struggle to maintain our focus in the age of technology.
What we built
Continuity is a project management tool and social Pomodoro timer. Its core functionality prevents access to apps like social media during focus sessions, with stronger restrictions than iOS Screen Time alone. Breaking the timer results in demerits, which proves highly effective.
The app includes social elements that let users track focus sessions with friends and monitor weekly statistics similar to Apple Fitness — without distracting chat features.
Constraints we navigated
Mastering Apple's Screen Time Controls to implement a robust app-blocking mechanism that cannot be easily bypassed. Designing an intuitive and user-friendly interface for both individual and group focus sessions. Ensuring real-time synchronization and seamless performance across different devices and platforms. Balancing the social features to enhance productivity without introducing distractions.
