Scan your feet with a phone, build a scan history, and turn each capture into a 3D last.
Description
FOOTSCAN turns a phone camera into a foot-scanning tool. You capture a scan, browse a history of past scans, and tap into any one of them for per-scan detail. Each capture is processed toward a 3D last — the foot-shaped form used to build properly fitted footwear and orthotics.
The app is built in React Native / Expo and runs on iOS and the web, with the scan flow designed to be quick enough to repeat regularly.
Challenges
Making capture reliable and repeatable from a consumer phone, structuring scans into a browsable history with meaningful per-scan detail, and moving from a raw capture toward a usable 3D last. The app is still in progress.
