PRS — Punk Rock Sober

The command center that got a weekly podcast organized, and what happened to the numbers when it did.

The problem

The show ran on memory, and memory was losing. Nobody could say which episode launched on which day. Sponsor spots were forgotten in the edit, which meant pulling a published episode down, re-cutting it, and uploading again, losing the views it had already earned. Episodes went out without intros. Plans lived in one person's head and reached the team as surprises.

What we built

A command center that holds the whole pipeline: every episode and its production status, guests, transcripts, launch dates, and the performance numbers that matter, with the growth playbook tracked as a running checklist beside the episodes it applies to. Everyone sees the same board; nothing depends on someone remembering to tell someone else.

The work did not stop at software. We used AI to script tight episode intros and handed them to the producer, and redesigned the thumbnails. Systems and craft moved together, which is why the numbers moved.

What changed

The channel's own analytics tell it plainly. Click-through rate more than doubled. Average view duration more than doubled. Episode views ran two to four times higher. Sponsors noticed: more of them, paying more. And the producer stopped re-cutting published episodes to patch in forgotten ad spots, because ad spots stopped being forgotten.

The show now runs its weekly episode and guest cadence through the system.
